drones

drones

Someone just said to me: "I can't believe their talking about killing Americans on American soil with drones".  What if the drone accidentally kills the wrong person?  What if I, Robot actually happens?  This is like I, Robot except it's with drones.  Computers don't run or work perfectly.  Sometimes computer stop working correctly and a drone is only a glorified computer.  #american #drones #drone

Opinions on drones? They are great when used for war, however, the Federal Government using military weapons within any state of the United States is an attack upon that state unless the governor of that state has invited the military to execute such action. Just as FEMA is not permitted to go into a state uninvited because it is an invasion of a state by the Federal government. Attacking American citizens with weapons of war is illegal and the President obviously no longer cares about illegal; particularly since he has no respect for our Constitution.

Drones are remote operated. As for the 'I, Robot' scenario, not likely soon, however, the signals could possibly be hacked and the drones retasked; however, that would take skills and equipment few have access to (at least I would hope).

The problem also exists that once government gets a taste of killing its own citizens without due process of law, who will be labelled a terrorist or a threat to national security. Remember the DHS list of people to watch out for? I would be considered a prime target for this current administration: white, male, veteran, expert marksman on pistol and M16, Christian, Constitutional Conservative who also posts his views on the internet.

How many 'dissidents' did Stalin kill? How many of his own countrymen were massacred? Millions. The easiest way to find people like me would be to eliminate us while at home, or better yet, while gathered together at congregational services with like minded people so less missiles could be used for maximum effect.

However, this is just my opinion. The problem with the drones are the people in charge of them (at the top of the chain of command) and how they have them programmed. Eagle Eye is another movie about using computers and artificial intelligence to 'keep us safer' and what could go wrong.
