even though this world/earth doesn't seem perfect compared to Heaven... God did make it perfect in some ways.  Everyone on earth has true free will... its just that each person is put in different situations and everyone is brought up (grows up) differently.  There is of course the thing with God and Satan.  Satan is trying to draw us to him and God is doing the same.

I read a testimony on Bethel's website that when someone started tithing God "opened the heavens" and healed a tooth that would have cost $400 to repair.

Let me ask something. When were the heavens opened, when you started tithing, or when the body of Christ was torn? I think if you read Hebrews 9 and 10 carefully you will see it was absolutely when the body of Christ was torn. If you think the heavens are opened any other way you are trying to acces God by a way other than Christ. LET US REMEMBER THAT CHRIST IS THE ONLY DOOR INTO GOD'S PRESENCE! He said "NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME!"

We are in danger of losing what we have worked for when we start to think the miracles that are happening are based on our works instead of on grace and through Christ. Galations is speaking very clearly to us right now:

Galations 3:1-5 O foolish Galatians, who bewitched you not to obey the truth, to whom before your eyes Jesus Christ was written before among you crucified? This only I desire to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of Law or by hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, do you now perfect yourself in the flesh? Did you suffer so much vainly, if indeed it also was vainly? Then He supplying the Spirit to you and working works of power in you, is it by works of Law or by hearing of faith?
