howie, you do know that this new adaptation of Christianity is pretty damn new right? What you are doing is essentially stripping the true Christianity of all it is and molding it into your own preferred image of it. I got nothing against that, just found it ironic and wanted to say hi. >-> I do like your stance in comparison to many others though, so I don't hate. :)

In Matthew 19:19, it says "love your neighbor as yourself".  In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, it says "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." In Matthew 5:43 & 44, it says "[ Love for Enemies ] “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"

I don't think atheists are smarter than the religious. Smarter is a little difficult to define as not all would agree that knowledge = smart, but instead more about having more intelligence. The problem here though is that even if someone has more intellectual talent, they may choose not to invoke it. More importantly, one must be careful when putting oneself above others, "Claiming to be wise, they became fools," many may know it as, personally though I like the Socrates version more.
