We dilute what it means to be a disciple from the beginning. There needs to be some time there. Not to prove or earn some salvation. Has there really been a heart change? Are we discipling that person into Christ or just letting them go? Are we helping them and loving them? Or are we expecting and wanting them to prove that they are Christians? People don’t become Christians overnight. They need to be loved into Christ. If there is no love, then where is Christ in your life? Jesus is love! We should be love as well if we have Christ in us. The 1st two commandments are to love so shouldn’t we love others?

Plus there are tons of other verses talking about love and how to love people and others.

Society and others that are not Christian are quick to hate so we are to love.

The love God has for us should grow in us. We should allow His love to grow in us and for us to love Him back so much so that we want to obey God. That we want to obey the Word and know the Word so that we can do what God wants and obey it/Him as well.

Otherwise, why are we obeying? So we can win His affection and love for us? No No No, He first loved us!!!!!! We forget this ALL the time!!!!! He first loved us. We don’t have to win Him or do anything!! We don’t have to do a single thing other than to accept Him and believe in Him. It only says that faith is dead without works. So as we have faith in Him, we will produce works/fruit.

Christians tell Christians, do this, do this, do this. Then we say “yea, I feel bad and I’m not going to do that” but that is where it stops. We are hearers of the word but not doers. There also hasn’t been a fundamental heart change. There should be a real desire to make the gospel known and tell others. It says in the bible that WE are to go into ALL the world and preach the gospel. That is talking about everyone who is a believer is go to into the entire world, not just part of the world. Not just part of the believers. EVERYONE into ALL the world!!!! I don’t see this happening in today’s world.

When you get married, you usually have a desire to have kids (a desire to create life) which is natural. If reproduction isn’t happening, then there is something wrong. If reproduction isn’t happening in a Christian’s life, then there is something wrong. Something that needs to be addressed. Being a disciple always involves making disciples. If we aren’t making disciples, are we really disciples?

I must do this because the spirit of Christ in me compels me to because I don’t want people to miss this. God loves us so very very much!!! He loved us so much that He died on the cross for us!! He loves us all the time unconditionally!! If we don’t do things because of God’s love or because He compels us, then it’s fake.

Persecution of Christians is a real thing. It’s a big deal!! Are you willing to totally and fully lay down your life for Christ? For someone you cannot see physically? Would you do that? When the rubber hits the road, would you stand up for Christ? Would you be strong in your faith and belief in Christ? If someone is holding a gun to your skull (to your head), would you stand for Christ? Would you continue to be strong in your faith and belief in Christ?

It’s not as easy as it sounds! It’s not a simple yes or no!! You have to really think about it!! What are you really truly rooted in and grounded in? Are you rooted and grounded in God or something else? Money? Possessions? Food? Having enough? Getting by? A spouse? A boyfriend or girlfriend?

the first 2 commandments are to love so shouldn't we love? I believe we should try to love everyone into the kingdom. also, if a Christian is shunning me because I am a sinner, why would I want to become a Christian or stay on the path to being a Christian especially if I am a new believer. We should come alongside of our fellow believers & help them in their Christian walk, not shun them. Jesus would leave the 99 to go for the 1 lost sheep. There r also many verses about love, so lets love
