my, Jared Roberts, super quick and short testimony:
-I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus into my heart when I was very young
-while I was growing up, my family and I read through the entire bible at least 4 times
-during this time, I began to see and realize that there is so much more to God and the bible then what we seem to live and do and talk about
God is such a big and powerful God
stop putting God in a box
The bible says that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Plus, God can do anything and everything. After all, He created the universe, the world and humans.
There is just so much in the bible and in God that I was like there is so much more than what my family is currently doing and even believing in.
God can heal anyone.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever!
Why do some people seem to believe that God only speaks directly to them through the bible? God can speak to you through more than just the bible!! what if God only does things you expect Him to. Like if you don't expect God to give you a "feeling" than He won't. If you don't expect God to heal someone even though your praying for them, then He won't heal them. What if that is true? Maybe you need more faith. Maybe you need to stop putting God in a box. He is so big and so good!! He is much more righteous than us.
